Auditors stated we need IDS 3 years ago.

It is installed and good but we need a subscription.

"Can we get a demo of IDS until the end of the year? Then we can buy it next year because purchasing is closed from November to Feb."

yeah we dont use 1 gig and we need a network redesign more than 10 gig.

"well at least the backups will be faster"

 (in my head i am thinking.. we havent bought anything.. we havent changed the network and we dont have additional capacity..)
